@kemi.attracts: Had a really good time at Cocody. Let me be real, the only hiccup was waiting about 20 minutes for our waiter after we got our water. Once they let us know she had an emergency, it was understood. They were extremely apologetic. It was Easter and busy comes with the territory. We almost let that viral video stop us from pulling up, but I’m glad we didn’t. Please go have your own experience and stop carrying other people’s stories. The food was good, portions were giving and the staff showed up. Big shoutout to Josiah for taking care of us, plus the managers who kept checking in to make sure everything felt right. And baby… the beautiful Black owner Edith was on the floor, present, greeting her guests with so much grace. You can feel when something is built with intention.
