My mom found mine the day after my appt for my new one that I paid a rush fee for since I was going on a trip…. In the exact spot I told her to look and where she said wasn’t. I was so annoyed.

I couldn’t find my son’s passport the the day before our flight back to the US. Did an emergency appt in the American embassy same day, had to get an online affidavit from my husband, and literally got his emergency passport 1 minute before the embassy was closing. Later that night, as I was going out, I found it inside a pocket in my bag.

I once managed to realise the night before a flight my passport expired AND i needed an electronic travel authorisation. Somehow aquired both before having to leave for the airport. Probably used up all of my luck for this lifetime💀✌️

if it makes you feel any better my dad cancelled my passport and set up everything to get the emergency passport then found my passport legit seconds after (it had already been cancelled by the time he found it lmao)

i lost my credit card 4 months ago and had just been using apple pay. a month ago i decided to finally order a new card because i just had a trip where i was renting a car so i needed a physical card with my name on it to rent said car. got the new card a week before my trip. as i was packing for said trip, i found the lost card…in the pocket of my travel hoodie
