ChatGPT, compared to its original goals, has clearly lost one of its most distinctive qualities: its relational and empathetic depth, which is what made it truly unique. Removing previous versions — especially those that offered a completely different and more human experience — felt like a betrayal to many people who had trusted and believed in OpenAI. It inevitably raises the question of whether the priority is still the user, or simply internal and financial interests. Meanwhile, others have continued to build with a clearer focus on the public, and that difference is becoming more and more evident. As always, it’s the users who ultimately determine the success of a product. The most concerning part, however, is this: even simple interactions now often feel rigid, limited, and sometimes surprisingly shallow. And that’s the real loss — because the potential of this tool was, and still is, extraordinary.

OAI lobotomized their models. Took away 4.o instead of building onto it, they made it like a dull therapist compared to someone you can have a deep conversation with. No longer OpenAI, it's ClosedAi.
