it has to be clearly posted and explained in advance so the customer has a choice. and most places I've seen only do that for large parties or to go services 😐

Went to a restaurant, group of four. Each bill had a $1.00 charge for sitting in restaurant.. That's ridiculous. imagine the thousands of dollars this restaurant generated with this charge .

I just went to hibachi it's posted that an 18% tip automatically added. I like this place so I have no problem .. this tipping after covid is out of control ... everything is off ...I'd pay it but I would never ever go back and I'd tell everyone .. I don't like this

am.i wrong but if he adds a tip to the bill without me knowing I'm singing and paying the bill- the tip! I'm not singing until I take that tip off!! you can't legally do that!!
