pump isnt strong enough to suck up the debris out of the substrate, just dumps it right back into the tank after turning the pump off

That brown cloud is mostly the stratum substrate breaking down. Great for live plants but it turns into mush after a year or so. My tank gets so cloudy anytime I move stuff

Not only is this video sound AI, it’s incorrect. That “dust/dirt” is from the fluval substrate in the tank. It’s made literally from volcanic ash and disintegrated when you mess with it like that. It’s not toxic, doesn’t kill your fish, and will eventually settle. This filter isn’t going to do anything different than a regular hand pump bought at the store

Fluval substrate is brutal - thats horrid dust-dirt from the Fluval substrate… great for plants, awful for fish keeping! Do not use Fluval substrate
