Cops generally don't want to write tickets, it's more paperwork for them. If you are polite and cooperative you can generally get away with a warning. What you will never do is argue your way out of a ticket of the side of the road.

They were clearly able to communicate with each other. Cop technically is required to tell you what law you have broken to require ID. It’s just a power trip for them to assert dominance.

the cop was at fault at first for escalating the situation. they had a perfectly productive conversation with her window cracked the way it was and could have done the entire stop that way. but once she took off she has no claim to anything. now your windows getting broken and you're getting pulled out of the car for running.
