@abide4us: The Bible never once says “once saved, always saved.” Not one time. 👀 That phrase came from a church council in 1618. Not from Jesus. Not from Paul. From a meeting. And yet people will fight you over it like it’s written in red letters. 😭 The real text gives you something harder and better — God’s grip is real… AND faith has to endure. Both. At the same time. That’s not a contradiction. That’s a covenant. Drop a 🤝 if you’re done with the lazy slogans and ready for the real thing. #GlovesOffTheology #BiblicalTruth #LeadershipTok #FaithAndFacts #ABIDE

There is no nuance about eternal security. Once saved always saved is the truth.

OSAS is not biblical. We are saved by grace, thru faith, and that faith has to be unto obedience. We must walk (an obedient act) by faith. We must remain grounded and settled in the faith, if we are to be presented as holy and blameless. The Bible is rife with examples and statements that make the case.

A true believer in Jesus will experience conviction of sin. The dwelling of the Holy Spirit makes it impossible to remain comfortable in wrongdoing. If you are never convicted in the heart of wrongdoings, have remained conformed to the pattern of this world and not actively transforming by renewing your mind to be of love, joy, peace, goodness, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, patient, and self-control, then the sincerity of your request for the free gift of salvation is in question. It would be foolish for anyone who has confessed Jesus, live in their own will and expect grace. Grace is the active, loving presence of God in the life of a believer, allowing them to accept and act on God's will. Therefore, a person living in their own will lives outside of grace.

I have no clue what you are talking about. no god exists. no devil exists. jesus never existed in the context you believe in. it all lies. every bit of it..you know nothing about the planet you live on, but claim to know everything about the afterlife. I have my doubts.

That’s been one of my biggest struggles so i grew up with conflicted parents. My dad’s family was Pentecostal & taught as strict as “WEAR THE WRONG CLOTHES?! HELL!! BOY WITH LONG HAIR?! HELL!” But my dad was never that strict on us. It never came off as correct to me. But i liked how passionate they were about religion. I liked the idea of humbling yourself. But thought some rules were just silly. And my mom was super vague baptist. “Be nice. Believe. The end!” Even as a child that sounded utterly wrong from what little i knew of the bible. Ultimately it wasn’t till i was maybe 25 & read the bible on my own, i found my own faith & what i believe. I believe in a faith that DOES require action, but not perfection. A faith about reforming your life towards Jesus & not the world.
