in my case, floater started to appear when i was in my 30s. quite disturbing at first but then you will get used to it or rather your brain started to adjust to it. I seldom see it anymore unless I look at white coloured things.

Mine got much worse when I fell down a stairwell. I think I knocked some stuff loose in my eyes.
