But do it privately. So you don’t run the risk of your child seeing it, and being subjected to feelings of not being wanted or valued.

Anyone considering parenthood needs to be nanny for some time. I want people to just get a little glimpse into the amount of work it entails. Working as a nanny solidified that I wanted to remain childfree….not because I hate children, but because loving them takes so much out of you.

I think a lack of support (village) can also contribute to this, I’m so lucky that I am close to my parents and in laws that they take my son whenever I need a break. If I didn’t have that I would be having a different experience

If I saw a video of my mom during my childhood, making videos saying “I hate being a mom,” it would totally break me… & make me feel like a burden. Motherhood is forever.. you will always be there mom. Motherhood & loving your child are not separate. As a FTM, motherhood is so hard but saying you hate motherhood is speaking so much negativity on your kids. I love realness but it would break my heart seeing my mom speak this way 💔
