@sabrinarabbanesq: Most people think being a lawyer means your life belongs to your job. That’s true for many areas of the law. I’ve lived the long hours, nonstop pressure, always on call, and realized quickly it’s not the only way. There’s a path where you still build a serious career, make real money, and actually control your time. Most people just never hear about it. #RealEstateLaw #LawyerLife #WorkLifeBalance #LegalCareer #WomenInLaw
Does real estate law still average $100k+? I have been considering to switching my practice field to this but wanted a general idea of what to expect.

Personal injury law has a lot of freedom. I’ll have $50k in expenses paid out at anytime but I also bring in 7 figures in attorneys fees a year. I work a good bit, but never miss anything for my kids and family.

Like my dependence on you😒 :
right but I don't know of another field of law beside big law that pays the cost of the degree. If I can't realistically make almost $200k a year in a relatively short amount of time, I don't think I can justify the cost tbh 😭

How do you get licensed as a lawyer in a different state if you move out of the state you passed the bar in?

Hi! This is pretty true but you should explain some of the angles in RE law can be very different… I started off in RE Law doing land use/zoning litigation.. so very much the opposite of what you said… I ended up in joint venture financing so helping developers build in simplest terms and is A LOT of work in the office with big clients… now my end game is basic conveyancing at a flat rate in my home town and from my friends who do this line of work it is EXACTLY how you describe it… but just in clarification there are plenty of RE law angles that are high intensity and a lot of work!

this might be a stupid Question but how do you learn to practice different type of law? I thought law school just basically teaches you how to interpret the law and apply it.
