Chef, Chris spent years playing professional ice-hockey in both Sweden & Finland where his cooking style has been influenced by the Nordic cuisine. The cafe itself is named after Christines, late Nonna, making tribute to her wonderful life. An overview of what we had: 🐟 Sea Plate: House-cured salmon, ricotta dill spread, cucumber, jammy egg: LOVED this, the perfect picky plate, my ideal style of breakfast. The egg was so jammy, the salmon was delicious & the pickles were perfect 🎀 Poached Chicken Sandwich: what we would equate to like a healthy mcchicken, so delicious, full of flavour, loved the house-made green sauce  ⚡️ Smorrebroad: an open-faced sandwich on house-made rye bread with a potato salad & torched pancetta. I liked this but it wasn’t my die hard favourite, I did like how the topping could really shine & how well the thin rye bread held together.  🫐Norwegian Rye Waffle: whipped ricotta & house-made jam: actually loved this more than I thought I would! It wasn’t too sweet, it was crisp & light with the perfect ratio of topping.  They have so many delicious sweets in their cabinet that I am dying to go back in and try. You will be greeted by the kindest people here. Christine has a heart of gold and is so sweet!
