@jessistudyyyy0: 1️⃣ Read only headings and subheadings no notes, no highlighting. 2️⃣ Close the book and write what each section means from memory. You will feel wrong. That's the point. 3️⃣Reopen the text and fill the gaps. By forcing recall before full understanding, you trigger the brain's strongest mechanism: active retrieval. The brain hates missing information, so it flags gaps as urgent and locks them in harder. Traditional studying is passive - you recognize, not remember. This method creates friction, and friction builds stronger neural pathways. A lot of Japanese students have been pairing this method with a tool called Oreate AI — it turns your notes into active recall quizzes in seconds, so you're not just re-reading, you're actually retrieving. Honestly? Game changer. Link in my bio if you wanna try it 🎓🎯 Students using this method memorized textbooks in nearly half the time and retained more under pressure. Schools didn't suppress it because it failed. They discouraged it because it worked too well and broke the curve. Follow for more insights 💎 #study #studytok #StudyTips #exam #school

I don’t understand why band a learning technique if it works. They just want people to fail on purpose so they can make more money on them retaking classes. This isn’t about making sure you learn. Is about making sure u don’t understand or comprehend. Smh

I memorized whole syllabus in 1/2 hours 😅 from grade one until university studying law. I know shorter technique, it's so easy that you can memorize 109 words in less than 3 minutes. I picked the last technique when I had to do long distance, be my own lecturer and student. I have also been a private teacher and offered sponsorships to study. At University I studied 2 hours max for exams and always top 5😂 pretending to be heavy studying am sipping a beer n using easy study ways using audio recordings

I take practice tests first to see what I know already then I only focus on what I don't know. I try to never read texts.

I first read everything fast not really focusing on anything, I call it "scan reading". Then I read it all paying attention to everything and pausing to search for any term/sentence I don't know or understand.

Teaching is literally a technology. So studying using these tools is a method like any other, without considering whether those who use this technology use it well.
