So here is an update on this June 2025 event : the police after trespassing her , reviewed the agreement of the event and they conceded to being wrong as it was not authorized as a “private event “ (which if it was she could be removed) The Chief of Police and city officials called her personally, apologized “profusely,” rescinded the trespass, and told her she was welcome back anytime. She returned the next week and continued filming without issue.

I get why it feels like she has the right since it’s city land — but once the city permits or rents the space for an event, the organizers can set rules and remove people who disrupt it. So no, she doesn’t have an automatic right to stay there.
