i neeeeed you to talk about crib naps. my sleep trained baby sleeps all night in her crib, can NOT get her to sleep independently. she’s 7 months. i have tried for literal hours to get her to stay down in her crib. literally have tried everything. have tried 1st nap of day, treat it just like bedtime, make sure to have super stimulating wake windows, etc. she’s also getting big and i can tell she’s uncomfy in my arms for contact naps but will NOT sleep in her crib during the day time. i’m at such a loss

My babies have both wanted to eat every 1.5-2 hours for the first 6 months! The whole 3-4 hours thing I’m like ???? 😂

Oh you’re getting good naps! My baby sleeps maybe 45 min, if I’m lucky an hour. How would I base my day from short naps?

Do you pump in the morning or before bed to keep up with supply since you’re going 12 hours at night with no removal?

1. What about a feed to sleep association if you’re feeding them before naps. 2. What do you do with their nap schedule if they wake up sometimes at 7:30 but sometimes they wake up at like 5:30-6:30?

Hi Dana, would you suggest a 9:15 morning nap if my baby gets up at 6:00am with me? I’m a teacher and I nurse him/drop him off to my mom in the morning before I go to work!

I just feel like 915 is sooooo early. Could this work with 10am and 2pm instead?

I’m still doing this exact thing at 9.5 months old, starting to wonder how/when we start weaning? I planned to stop breastfeeding after a year but now hard to see that happening!

What I love about you is your absolute confidence and very clear, precise advice that's still flexible enough it works for every baby. Too often parenting baby advice is either completely unrealistic and impossible for a real baby that's not naturally like a super easy sleeper/eater - or it's so vague and generic I don't know what to do with it. Thanks for giving guidance in a way that makes me believe I actually know what I'm doing 😊

Dana you somehow always know EXACTLY what I need to hear and when! Baby is 6 months old and you are single-handedly the reason I feel so confident with him. So grateful for you!!

I’ve seen it in several of your videos and I LOVE a good notebook. What do you use it for. Thanks again for what you do.

we are currently sleep training and hoping it improves naps but I can't get my baby to nap more than 30 minutes in her crib so I'm having a hard time transitioning her to this schedule because it leaves her wake windows way too long unless I contact nap or drive nap. how do I fix these naps?

What’s the wake window length you find works well before bedtime? We are struggling hard with multiple false starts 730-midnight.

I’m a FTM and heard that 3-hour nap is too long and can mess with their bedtime sleep. Is it true?

I know you said you previously used taking Cara babies. Do you cap any of the naps at 2 hours as TCB suggests? Or if my baby is sleeping over 2 hours for nap two can I just extend and skip cat nap?

Megan Elizabeth :
Do you move the times of the set naps as they get older? Our 7.5 month old has naps at 10:00 and 2:30 because he can handle longer wake windows now.
