i once did a ride along with the most serious officer. I asked what's the most paranormal thing he has experienced on the force. He told me about the haunted City Yard restrooms. He said he was on night shift. He got dispatched to the city yard for a suspicious person snooping around the building in the city yard. He arrived and drove around with all his 360 lights on and couldn't find anyone. He tgot off and walked around the building and he said he heard a door on the side slam shut. He knew no one was supposed to be there so he called it in and asked for backup. Two more officers arrived and they went into tje building identifying themselves. It was a small building with a shop and the main restrooms along with some contamination showers. They heard a toliet flush so they moved over to the restrooms announcing their presence. They made entry into the restroom which was long with stalls at the end a small room with showers for contamination. He said the restroom has auto lights and they were on. They heard shuffling in the small room where the shower was. They called out and walked toward the room weapons drawn. He said they got to the end and no one was there. They turned around to head out and suddenly all the stalls slammed open....the lights shut off and heavy footsteps startef charging them. He mentioned all the officers had flashlights and seen nothing. They all took off running out of the building. He said there is apparently bodycam footage of the whole incident. The video was passed around the department and is still saved. (i didn't get to see it)
