@thatpatchlady: I had to share this because this is exactly why I do what I do! This gentleman moves from piece of furniture to piece of furniture just to get around his own home. Two walking sticks. A mobility scooter. His whole family coordinates their schedules just to help him get through the day. She could not even do a proper stability test on him because he could barely stand. Then the patch went on. Watch his face. Watch how he moves. Watch what happens to someone who has accepted that this is just his life now. Balance is neurological. The brain controls how we move and how we stabilize ourselves. When the nervous system gets the right signal everything starts to communicate differently. No drugs. No chemicals.
