@bodycam_networkusa: Chaos Erupts Woman Resists Arrest And Tries To Escape On May 21, 2023, officers with the Orlando Police Department were conversing in a nearby parking garage when they suddenly heard a loud disturbance coming from a local business next door. The shouting quickly escalated, prompting officers to respond immediately to investigate. Upon arrival, they observed a group of individuals arguing with staff members, with tensions already high. As officers approached, the situation turned physical, with multiple individuals pushing and striking one another. The officers quickly announced their presence and gave verbal commands in an attempt to regain control. When the individuals failed to comply, officers stepped in and physically separated both parties, working to de-escalate the situation and restore order inside the business. The videos provided with this request are limited due to how quickly the situation unfolded. When an officer activates their body-worn camera, it captures the previous 60 seconds of footage without audio, followed by real-time recording with audio once the record button is pressed. Because of this, only a brief portion of the incident is clearly documented, and some key moments leading up to the confrontation may not be fully captured. According to the police report, the woman who initially ran inside the business was an employee, with her mother entering shortly after her. This information helps add context to the situation, suggesting the incident may have stemmed from a personal or workplace-related dispute, even though the available footage does not show the full sequence of events.
