I have the hanging car one , I have had it in my car for 4 days and I keep turning it upside down and letting it show thru the top of the wood but it’s almost empty and I can’t smell it in my car at all 😭

I got the hanging one and it never soaked the top :( there was just a small patch on the top that soaked up the scent. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and there has been no change.

I shove dryer sheets in my vents. It’s not the cutest but it lasts a long time and my car smells like fresh laundry.

I buy the empty air fresheners with wood tops from Amazon and I think a six-pack for like $5 and then I get the liquid fragrances from better home and garden, the coconut one is my favorite and then I love the red lava, and use those to fill up the air freshener basically the exact same thing unfortunately they're not very strong especially the coconut, you don't really really smell anything until it's a warm day and it kind of heats it up but it's cute
