As someone on the left, I completely agree. That teacher should have dived into that statement more, explored it, had those uncomfortable conversations in a calm and open environment. That's what education should be - a safe environment for children to explore ideas and find the reason for their beliefs.

i understand what you’re trying to say and i agree to an extent but you do still have to take responsibility for your own beliefs. yeah people on either side can sway you with their behaviour but at the end of the day you’re an individual and what you say or do is down to yourself only

here is my story, I was an anon until February 2010, I walked away when we started to become the monsters that we were fighting. I was not going to participate in an attack on the usa goverment. I was an occupy and on those leftist and activist spaces until I started to question, then I was branded as racists, sexist and so many more. when i tell my story I get laughs and the same leftists saying ya we were right to remove you.
