I think running AI locally also is the more humane way to use AI because of the environmental implications. It genuinely gives me more peace of mind that I’m not actively wasting water when I make a mistake and have to retype my questions lol

i have 2 machines, one with 4070 and 1080 so (12GB + 8GB) currently running gemma 4 26B A4B on IQ4 and 128k context with turboquant within proxmox on a VM with gpu passthough. then i have a RX 7900 XTX 24GB, any suggestions what to run with these or how to use them smartly together?

how can I make my own app for my phone that can connect to my PC via ollama to chats with it? I use an app called, off grid, such works ok but voice not on it. so I want to make my own app instead. any directions I can look at?
