love how much the tree (willow?) that was in the postcard had grown - did you keep that one?

The overgrown landscape gave privacy ! Sad to see nature removed !

That was a great idea, especially since the trees were in poor shape.

i think it was a great call, but i would definitely add a flower bush there if possibly. maybe i'm only thinking this bc i JUST saw it with the trees, but it now looks like an empty space that could be filled with something that wont obscure the view

Correct decision… they looked ‘past their best’ & possibly the roots would cause damage underground…

The view of the manor between the trees reminds me of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children!

where i live they would be considered a fire hazard being so close to the home. also, in their poor condition, its the right decision. the property has many beautiful trees.

Absolutely! It changed the whole impression of the house. I personally would even have removed more trees in the driveway and around the manor. It’s so beautiful and it brings joy to my heart to see someone taking care and bringing it back to its original pride 🌷

Fir trees - no big loss. They drain a lot of nutrients from the soil. Always keep perspective. You can plant 10 new fir trees elsewhere but the house is irreplaceable. And the safety of the people living in it priceless.
