Keep reading or tap the link in the @allrecipes bio for full recipe details. ⬇️🍰 Ingredients: 1 pound butter (2 cups) 1 pound white sugar (2 1/3 cups) 1 pound eggs (8 to 9 large eggs) 3 1/4 cups cake flour, sifted 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1/2 lemon, juiced Directions: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 16 cup tube pan. Beat butter alone in a bowl until smooth and creamy, then add sugar gradually; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing after each addition. Whisk flour and salt together into a bowl, then add gradually, mixing after each addition. Beat in vanilla and lemon juice. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean, about 1 hour. Let cool in the pan.
