Fun fact: in Poland, the base structure of the roof, is very often made entirely of concrete. Only then is the final roof covering installed.

In Finland, we sometimes have 1 meter of wet snow on the roof in winter, which weighs a lot. That's why a durable and ventilated roof is needed....
