I wasn’t raised with financial education. Nobody taught me about investing, retirement, life insurance, or creating generational wealth. Like many Hispanic families, we didn’t talk about preparing financially for death or unexpected emergencies. Then my sister passed away at only 36 years old and left nine children behind. On her deathbed, she asked me to help her get life insurance because she wanted to leave something for her children—but it was already too late. Our family didn’t have enough money to give her the proper viewing and burial she deserved. That pain changed something inside me. I realized that families shouldn’t have to learn about financial protection during the most painful moment of their lives. Entering financial services frightened me. I questioned whether I could learn something completely new. I worried about attending appointments and not knowing what to say. But I refused to let fear stop me. I studied, earned my life insurance license, and began educating myself so I could educate others—especially Hispanic families who were raised without this knowledge. Today, I’m preparing for retirement, learning about investing, studying for my SIE exam, building Team Conquered, and working toward becoming a broker. I’m not here simply to sell policies. This mission is personal. The poverty mindset and lack of financial education may have started before me, but they will not continue through me. The cycle stops with me. Send me “QUOTE” to learn about protecting your family or “TEAM” to learn about joining me in financial services. 💚✨
