@balancingactrehab: Optic flow is the way your brain sees the world moving around you as you move through it. When you walk, turn your head, or even scroll on your phone, your brain is tracking how things shift in your environment to help you understand your speed, direction, and where you are in space and to keep you balanced. If your vestibular system isn’t giving clear input, your brain may rely more on this visual motion… and that’s when busy environments can start to feel overwhelming or dizzying. The goal is to gently retrain your brain to process that motion more comfortably over time. 3 ways to start: → Start small: try slow scrolling or watching gentle movement for 10–20 seconds while you are in a stable, grounded position → Anchor your system: focus on a stable object while motion happens around you → Build gradually: increase time or complexity only when symptoms stay manageable Progress = improving how your brain processes motion
