Most of them have tilt and pan settings so you can set the direction of air the direction you want or leave it on swing up/down or left/right

mount flat/vertical so it can drain condensate. hang it on end wall to blow across the span of long portion of structure for best circulation. takes more than just connecting everything, system needs to be evacuated before releasing charge

Mini split heads have to be mounted flat and level or they will not drain properly. Mount a sheet of plywood flat on wall then mount mini head to it.

I actually started looking into multi zone splits for my home. That way only 1 condenser. Just not sure the lines that come with would be long enough.
