I’ve also been selling CSP’s and rolling or closing to avoid assignment. I don’t trust the current state of the market either, and I don’t want to get stuck holding on a strike price that is too high. I’ve been more bearish and been doing short calls just because I feel they’re safer right now than short puts. Days like today are killing my credit call spreads though, but that’s a whole different thing.

Do not sell CSP on Green Day because the volatility is lower and the premium you collect is smaller too. On green day I turn to selling CC and sometimes naked calls since I am approved for this level of trading options

Had to roll my INTC $50 strike CC’s all the way out to 12/27 at $60 strike to stay ahead. Need a drop tomorrow so I can get out and start over. Did buy $50 puts for after earnings drop.
