I was laid off, then was pregnant, and now I’m spending time with my baby. A great job came up and I had my first interview. When they asked what I’d been doing for the last year and a half I said “I received a very generous severance from my lay off and I’ve been spending time with my family”. I’ve heard from a reliable source that this is the main reason they aren’t going with me. I didn’t want to say I had a baby (she’s only 5 months now)…. How do I answer this question ??

What should I do if I don’t know the answer? 😅 Like most complex project was the never ending pivots and directions from above. What was important last week is not important anymore this week, which basically led to no projects ever seeing the light of the day…. Is my complex project a CEO who doesn’t know what he wants but also won’t listen to the people around him?
