Always always always ask the assistants first. Doc will say “just have them come over, we’ll make them fit”. Mm-mm, nope, bc you’re only in there for cumulatively 25 mins. The remaining 65 is the assistant. Ergo, we ask her first.

We have 7 room in the office I work in & as lead assistant it pisses me off when front desk ask me when I’m I going to bring the patient she decided to add to the schedule in when all the rooms are already full , like giirrrrrlllll they can wait until I have a room ready 🤯
