@letmefinishthisthought: I created this account for one reason to share my foster care story. Something about putting it on my personal page felt off. I’m in a really happy place right now, and this is a heavy topic. I didn’t want to take away from either. I started a Substack last year just to process everything the world, my past, all of it. It’s been a lot. But it’s been healing. This is that space. My story. Out loud. I’m writing a book about my time in foster care. I’m starting a nonprofit for kids who age out of the system. And I launched a business last year because I genuinely just want to build something good. My life was changed in a big way.
