when I was in middle school my japanese exchange student gave me a yukata she made herself!! how could I refuse to wear it!? it meant so much to her to share her culture with me 😭🩷

not international, but my daughter went to preschool on a Native American reservation where I worked. one of the grandmas made her Regalia and moccasins to dance in the Powwow with her friends. they braided her hair. it was such a loving inclusion
