I’m the opposite. I don’t care that it’s wrong, I just am unable to lie unless I’m trying to hide something/get myself out of a situation because I just hate creating a false perception of reality and myself

I can lie with a straight face. But it feels so wrong and I think about it for a very long time. I’m a very truthful person and I carefully pick when to tell the truth and when to lie. It’s like I go through all the consequences in my head if I lie or tell the truth depending on the situation

I will lie if it requires empathy for another person. Like someone who is so proud of something they have baked or cooked but I don't like it, I will say I like it and point out the things about it that truly are good because I refuse to be someone that dims someone else's hobby or interest when they're first trying it out.

I tend to not lie, but also not tell the truth. I fae my way out of the situation by either going with whatever the other person says, or just smile and let people reach their own conclusions.

I keep like accidentally lying, like someone will ask me something and I'll just pull something straight out of my ass without thinking when I could've said the true thing just fine, and then I keep doubling down because I hate being wrong . how do I fix this it's genuinely becoming an issue

I lie frequently about most things, not in a deceitful way but everything I tell people about myself and what I do is so edited and filtered to be the best version or more catered to what I think a person wants from me. it's entirely self preservation but I've learned the hard way so many times I'm unhandleable if I don't.

I don't wanna lie, not because I think it's wrong or I morally can't, I just don't want to put the effort in to remembering my lies because I bearly remember the reality of something let alone a lie of the reality

For me, I can’t stand inaccuracies, and lying is just being intentionally inaccurate. There’s also the fact that if I were to actually lie, I don’t trust myself to remember the lie, at which point it loses its purpose.

The idea of being caught in even the smallest inconsequential lie, is like the worst thing possible to me, so that’s why I HATE lying. The only lies that I ever tell is I pretend I don’t know about something if have very little knowledge on it, so someone will tell me more about it instead of embarrassing myself on the lack of knowledge, or if I’m just not sure what I’m thinking of is what they’re talking about
