If you put a piece of board at the back that should make it more stable. Because it’ll hold everything together and offer some sort of reinforcement. You might just have to get another wallpaper or a picture or figure out what you want to do on that piece of board to make it flow nicely.

Get the wooden stuff they does use to put hot pans and stuff on and when you want to rest hot stuff on it you can put the wooden kind of trays then rest the pot of whatever on it
