We bought ours from Europe. We payed $80k with the Trump tariff of $10k. US and Canadian windows were over $100k.

As an Architect who specifies windows both domestic and international I can honestly tell you that the windows in the US are built better so you get what you pay for but with that said I’m always Pro Choice.

Buy Andersen windows through Home Depot. Have them send it to the bid room. Contractor pricing. We got all our home windows (30+ and casements) and a 16 foot long 9 foot tall sliding glass door for $30k. Andersen has top notch customer service.

Andersen boasts that the average door panel starts at 10k and their average panel goes for about 12k. But if I want the door of my dreams from Andersen it’s like 32k.

Overtime you’ll loose money. The American locksmiths will not have the parts for these doors. They’ll have to order parts from overseas. Repairs will take weeks if not months if you loose contact with the original supplier.
