See I try to be in the middle on this, I tell people I’m going to be honest but only when they ask me something and I have a feeling they aren’t going to like my answer. That or if I think someone did something morally wrong, I do feel it’s okay to try to talk about it. But I don’t feel a compulsive need to just fire out insults at people, even if it is what I think. Idk if that’s wrong, but I’d prefer not to sugarcoat stuff. People I’ve seen do that can hide their true colors for years and when they finally reveal who they are, the damage is amplified by all that illusion. So idk? Good balance is possible and healthy.

Most of them are just using that as an excuse to share a brutal opinion. And honesty has nothing to do with it. Honesty is for facts. Is the car red? Yes. That’s honest. Is that car ugly? That answer is opinion. And that opinion is what they share.
