Omg my algorithm really said for you. I went to my first big arena concert alone yesterday. I've been to small concerts alone before years ago, but never to such a big one. To my surprise I was so nervous before and a part of me didn't want to go because it felt so out of my comfort zone. I realized I hadn't been challenging my comfort zone in a while. I used to do it way more often. In the end I went to the concert and had the best night ever. It didn't feel weird at all. I got home happy and empowered, feeling like I could do anything. A feeling I haven't felt in a while. So now I set myself the goal to challenge my comfort zone more often again.

I don’t think we should leave comfort at any price and live uncomfortably , calling it “growth”. Maybe sometimes we just know ourselves and our boundaries and we are not willing to step on them and do things that don’t feel right. It is a very nuanced issue indeed. But i wouldn’t equate growth with discomfort in every case.
