Observe 1hr candle wait for pullback for 5 mins or so, key: if the market is bullish the 1hr candle will pullback short and entry on retrace. Same with bearish market. Another key, find 1hr FVG and entry on CISD. This works on gold, but not sure on ES/NQ.
