He is right, Western democracy can be and has been weaponised. There are other governance systems that would benefit humanity or a nation far more. In democratie system creates every 4 to 5 years leaders that only focus what they can do over those years so that they can be reelected. Democracy is hard press to strategize for long-term development and have shifted that to coorporation. That is not what true democracy means ... governance by the people for the people. So the political system as we have had must come to an end as they do not serve the people

Throughout my adult life, apart from a few countries, Africa has often been a mess. Ordinary people in towns or villages have never seen their lives improve or become easier. The main reason, time after time, is corruption. Democracy and societal laws or rules are pointless when local politicians and leaders, who are fellow Africans, steal money and sell resources to the highest bidder, whether it be Western countries, Russia, or China. On top of that we have seen some new leaders with new ideas but in the end nothing changes.
