The sand might not, but my grandfather sure does. He doesn't go outside anymore, his memory isn't the greatest but he still remembers the sound of arrival.

The earth remembers all of history. The seas, the lands, the skies. History builds onto itself as time passes on but the history remains none the less. It’s important for us all to know the past of our world. To understand it for the betterment of our future, but we must always preserve history, for history must always be remembered.
