He only yelled at her because she was yelling at her mom not knowing that her mom had to go through that as well being the only child raising herself by herself in that poverty, the struggles that they had to go through to also give their children the life that they wished they had growing up. Geum myeong feelings are valid here but so is the moms and so is the dads. This show is about everyone’s struggles in life love, growing, generation trauma and grief

its ridiculous how everyones choosing sides, considering how all characters are based of real life people, there are times where there will be uncontrolled outbursts, they are based out of humans. no ones should be choosing sides personally for me, both of them were valid and both of them were wrong, mistakes are humane

What she said was valid. Nobody can deny that. How she said it wasn’t. She repressed her feelings while pressuring herself which made her come off as apathetic to her parents. She loved them but at the time the pressure to make them proud was heavier.
