@travel_.talk: 👀Have you ever seen another store do this? While shopping in Shanghai, China, I came across this glasses store. After finding a pair of glasses i liked, the worker informed me that their store offers a FREE eye exam with any purchase of prescription glasses. Within 15 minutes, my eye exam was done (it was extremely thorough, using several different machines and tests) I ordered my new glasses, and came back 3 days later to pickup. Total was about $150. All of this was done without any prior scheduling, I simply walked in, and they handled the rest. Back in the US, I would’ve had to schedule an appointment with my optometrist, and then visit a separate glasses store to order glasses with my new prescription. It just made me think, why can’t buying prescription glasses be as simple as and cheap in the US? Have you ever seen stores like this? Maybe some exist in the US, and I just have never heard of them.
