yes you can!, you are recreating it, most artists need a reference or a picture so they can copy it. They did it because they don't know their own style, they tried out different styles and when they found the style they wanted, they started making their own drawing/art with that style and called it "their style" 😁

Yes….because you’re creating it with your own hands. When I don’t feel inspired, I turn to references on Pinterest. It helps spark ideas and guide my creativity. I can only draw purely from my imagination when inspiration is there, but using references is part of the process and helps me grow as an artist. Keep drawing ✍🏼 😊 I also draw chihiro from spirited away. This one.

Unless you didn't use AI on it, you are an artist in any way even you copy it cause all artist starts to copy others arts and it's a way to wider your imagination till you can create art yourself.
