There’s something deeply psychological and fascinating about this type of audit. The puppets members of the public suddenly feel like they are giving something up in an imaginary game they created in their heads when they see someone recording them. They don’t want to “lose” so they start recording back themselves which is doing the very thing they think is illegal. They don’t know why they are recording back, but they feel like they have to or else they lose the game 😂
