I got off an interview with someone that wanted me to take my own content, strategy, research, edit my own posts, run all of their socials. All for $200 a month. On what planet is that worth $200? My adobe subscription alone is like half of that lol

as someone who applied for these unpaid internships, i realized really fast that they just want work done for free. i asked in an interview if there would be any mentorship and they said no. shouldn’t an internship include being mentored??

I feel these kinds of descriptions and misunderstandings are SO common in the marketing space. I'm a social media marketer and it is ROUGH out there. They expect a team's worth of work for $15/hr. And wonder why they're not growing on socials.
