@safehavenhorserescue: This one has tears coming down my face as I write this. I am so sorry. We did everything we could. The vet team did literally everything they could to save him. It’s just not fair. His body was too compromised, too premature, to exposed to the bacteria at the kill pen - it was too much. I am so upset over this- I think it’s all just coming out of me at this point. Easter and her baby. Mamba. Yaki. Just all of it. It’s a lot of loss in the hardest ways. I truly am so sorry. My heart hearts for the life he didn’t get to have but I will lean on the fact THAT I know without a doubt he was loved, he KNEW THAT, he FELT THAT, and that he had an army who will never forget him. I can't save them all I know that I try to save any animal that crossed my path. and even though I'm a solo cat rescuer still trying to do everything in my power. and I lose it when I can't save one. like full on breakdown. I can't necessarily say I know how you feel but I have an idea....
