But I honestly think saving doesn’t ‘create wealth’. Having money saved only helps in times of emergencies. Which technically means, for one to be financially wealthy, they need to have money GROWING somewhere or have multiple sources of PASSIVE INCOME. Saving is important for managing life emergencies but unfortunately that’s about it for me😭

With a salary of 45K post tax deductions & all.. my monthly expenses are about 15K and the rest goes to investments and savings (10K buffer ) I just live a chilled life.. cause I know that in the long run , I’ll be good sana. It’s hard kodwa the goal is worth it.

I save 40% of my salary, this used to be 60% before I got a car. When I started working, I was severly underpaid and all my money went towards bills, I was saving R0. As I continued to progress in my career, the increase I got went towards saving because I didn't change my lifestyle at all. This is how I manage to save the 40%.
