Not sure everyone realizes this, but when my boys applied to college almost 7 years ago, they had to register for Selective Service to be eligible for federal financial aid. It was part of the process, and honestly, it felt really unsettling at the time.

Yes helped my son fill it out on his 18 birthday. I didn’t want to do it but it’s the law you have to fill it out. So there just making sure everyone is listed.
