If he wants to shorthand “I’ll have another” is a better option. If the bartender knows the previous order - no follow up. If not “remind me again”…and no alcohol is wasted on an erroneous drink. 🍸 🥃

if I say "I'll take the same thing" I make sure that I am pointing to my cup so server knows I meant the same of MY drink. 🤷🏻‍♀️
