🤍 and a little context to my bday shoot… I always do birthday photoshoots, and they usually represent a stage in my life or reflect something within me. This year was all about new milestones… I finally got my American passport after 15 years of living, working, and dreaming here , so that’s where the western style came from. The horse is symbolic for the Year of the Horse 🐎 moving forward. The year before last, I felt like I was working so much but somehow staying still… so finally breaking free and seeing the fruits of my work feels really nice. And from now on….only moving forward 😊 And honestly, I also wanted to capture my strong body, which reflects my strong mind. For a LONG time I was almost allergic to photos in a bikini - maybe because I spent half of my career shooting swimwear and trying to fit into unrealistic standards.
