i love brideshead ): it’s my favorite book of all time, it’s mean to be sort of a weird relationship with the wealthy family, along with sebastian’s teddy bear being an ode to innocence. if you have any other question feel free to ask because i absolutely adore brideshead revisited the 11 episode show is insanely good and true to the book also i’m almost done watching it

OMG, I finally found someone who feels the same way about Brideshead Revisited! I really wanted to like it since it’s so well-loved, but I just couldn’t. I think I was already put off by Charles’ being too passive about Sebastian’s alcoholism. he just kinda pulls away rather than stepping up. Maybe it’s just me
